Now in its 20th edition, the ‘Triathlon del Mediterraneo’ is one of the oldest Triathlon races held in National territory.
It was born in 1987 from the desire among the architect Iano Monaco and local sport managers to start high level competition  taking advantage of the coast and Mondello evocative seafront. A venue with optimal technical  and landscape features. The strongest Italian athletes and all the best International athletes join the race.
The presence of number sport stars is the leitmotif connecting all the Mediterranean Triathlon editions  held over the last years.
