Still Winter or already Spring?

I just came back from Germany two days ago and we all know how is winter like in the Northern part of Europe. Nearly forgot the difference we find here in Sicily. Today I made a short walk around our house, just 20 Minutes, see what is growing around here in the middle of January..

Erice, Sicily

Erice, in the Province of Trapani and overlooking the city of Trapani, is located on top of the Mount Erice, 750m above the sea level. From her we can see the low western coast towards Marsala with the salt fields, the Monte Cofano and San Vito lo Capo to the north-east and the Aegadian Islands Levanzo, Favignana and Marettimo on Sicily’s north-western coast.
