The first golf course developed in Sicily, the Picciolo Golf Club was laid out in the 1990’s and demands accuracy in driving, played as it is through oak and hazel trees, by vineyards, and with the occasional lava flow adding an unexpected obstacle. The location, at 650 meters above sea level where the temperatures are appreciably cooler in the heat of the summer, means that golf can be played in perfect comfort here, 12 months of the year.
In the warm climate of Sicily, the courses at Verdura captures the essence of the island. A game of golf here is an experience you will never forget, with beautiful blue skies overhead and epic sea and landscapes all around.
